Affectionately known as “Louisiana’s Living Legend,” Tab Benoit continues to carry the torch for swampy, soulful blues with his unmistakable Bayou sound. Fresh off his I Hear Thunder Tour, Benoit is riding a wave of renewed acclaim following the release of his first album in thirteen years, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart.
The Houma, Louisiana native also swept four 2025 Blues Blast Music Awards, including Rock Blues Album, Blues Band, Male Blues Artist, and Electric Guitarist of the Year. With a career spanning more than three decades, Benoit remains a defining voice in roots music—his Otis Redding-inspired vocals and fluid guitar work continuing to resonate across generations.
His journey began in 1992 with the breakout success of Nice and Warm, and since then he has earned multiple Blues Music Awards, four Grammy nominations, and a reputation as both a master musician and passionate advocate for Louisiana’s wetlands and coastal preservation.
Sharing the bill is one of the most formidable guitarists of her generation, Samantha Fish. Known for her fearless playing and commanding stage presence, Fish blends raw power with deep emotional expression, crafting songs that are as introspective as they are explosive.
Her latest album Paper Doll showcases a bold new chapter, featuring nine powerhouse tracks that highlight her evolving voice as both a guitarist and songwriter. “It’s taken me years to finally find my voice in a studio setting,” Fish explains. “But with this record I took everything I had, and slammed it right on the table.”
The Kansas City-bred artist has built an impressive career that includes a Grammy nomination for Death Wish Blues with Jesse Dayton and a high-profile opening slot for The Rolling Stones on their final 2024 U.S. tour date. On Paper Doll, she leans into themes of defiance, identity, and personal freedom, delivering a sound that feels both timeless and urgent.
Recorded in Austin and Los Angeles, the album reunites Fish with producer Bobby Harlow and features collaborations with notable players including Jon Spencer and Luther Dickinson. The result is a record that pushes beyond genre boundaries while staying rooted in blues tradition.
Together, Benoit and Fish bring decades of experience, passion, and firepower to the stage, offering a night that celebrates the past, present, and future of the blues.
