Tahoe Live Expands to Colorado with Free 11,000-Ft Launch Party This Friday and 2026 Dates Announced
The team behind
Tahoe Live, one of the country’s fastest-growing winter destination music festivals and nicknamed
“Coachella on the slopes,” is officially expanding into Colorado with the
debut of Colorado Live, kicking things off with a free mountaintop launch party at 11,000 feet this Friday, March 20. Today they also announce the dates for their official
2026 Tahoe Live December 11-13.
The one-day pop-up event will transform the top of Copper Mountain into a high-altitude dance floor, featuring a special back-to-back set from Valentino Khan and OKAYVAL from 12–3pm ET. Guests will have free access to the event with their day pass, season pass, IKON pass, or foot passenger ticket.
Mountaintop performances of this scale are extremely rare, requiring extensive coordination with resort operations and with production teams currently transporting staging and equipment up the mountain to bring the experience to life.
The launch event marks the official introduction of
Colorado Live, a new winter festival concept inspired by the success of Tahoe Live, which has quickly become a standout on the U.S. winter festival circuit by blending electronic music, ski culture, and destination travel. Watch the teaser video

The launch of Colorado Live follows a breakout 2025 edition of Tahoe Live, which marked a pivotal moment in the festival’s evolution. Expanding to three sold-out days at Palisades Tahoe, the event brought together world-class electronic artists, alpine adventure, and deeply memorable fan experiences, solidifying its place as one of the most unique winter festivals in the U.S.
The 2025 lineup featured the legendary roster including LSZEE (LSDREAM x CloZee) Porter Robinson, Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, and DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal) delivering a weekend defined not only by scale, but by connection, creativity, and once-in-a-lifetime moments. You can download high-res photos from the festival here.
Building on that momentum, the expansion into Colorado marks a natural next step for the brand, bringing its signature “ski by day, music by night” experience to the Rocky Mountains with the debut of Colorado Live.
“Colorado Live represents the official expansion of our dance music mountain footprint. We are bringing the same caliber production and talent buying strategy that defined Tahoe Live to Copper Mountain. This Friday’s launch is just the beginning of what we have planned for the region.” –Dustin Esson, CEO/Founder
While full details for Colorado Live are still to come, the team has confirmed that Tahoe Live will return December 11–13, 2026, as momentum continues to build around high-altitude festival experiences.
