Tedeschi Trucks Band have announced their sixth studio album, Future Soul, due Friday, March 20 via Fantasy Records, and shared the first single, “I Got You,” alongside an official music video.
Arriving in the middle of the band’s 10-show headlining run at New York City’s Beacon Theatre, the 11-track collection finds the GRAMMY Award-winning 12-piece leaning into the full force of their live chemistry while stretching into new sonic corners. “I Got You,” written by guitarist/vocalist Mike Mattison, draws on the classic groove-and-grit spirit of Derek and the Dominos and Delaney & Bonnie for a driving, mid-tempo ride built for the stage.
“‘I Got You’ is a breath of fresh air and pretty different for us,” shares Derek Trucks. “It feels like the band, but it doesn’t feel like anything we’ve done before.”
Produced by Mike Elizondo and co-produced by Trucks, Future Soul was recorded at the band’s Swamp Raga Recording in Jacksonville, Florida, as well as Phantom Studios in Gallatin, Tennessee. The release follows 2022’s ambitious I Am The Moon project and the band’s recent live set Tedeschi Trucks Band and Leon Russell Present: Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN’).

Select dates will feature co-headlining shows with Alabama Shakes, with Sheryl Crow appearing on two September performances, and support across the tour from Lukas Nelson, JJ Grey & Mofro, and Molly Tuttle on various dates.
