Colorado Springs-based outlaw alt-folk group Tejon Street Corner Thieves have announced their new record ‘Juxtaposition’ due out October 27th, 2023 on Liars Club Records. The band have also given fans their first taste of new music with the release of the album's first single, "Can't Remember", available now on all digital music platforms.

"The album is about life and death, love and loss, partying and sobriety. The album encompasses the wide range of emotions we’ve experienced over the life of our band," said vocalist/banjo player Connor O’Neal. "We explored the differences in our writing styles and combined them in a way that creates an ebb and flow of fun party jams and serious, and sometimes heartbreaking, Americana anthems. Inspired by our friends and family. The whole world was our canvas for ‘Juxtaposition’."

‘Juxtaposition’ was recorded at Royal Recordings in Colorado Springs, CO with producer Bill Douglas (Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins) and is set to come out via Amigo the Devil and indie powerhouse Regime Music Group’s burgeoning label, Liars Club Records. The 9-track opus sees Tejon finding new ways to integrate an array of genres like Americana, Bluegrass, Folk and Punk into one confident record.

Tejon Street Corner Thieves have come a long way since their humble beginnings busking for change on Tejon Street in Colorado Springs, and being accused of “stealing” a corner during a turf war between rival buskers.  Those days are now a distant memory after being the first Liars Club Records signing in 2020.  Since then, the group has released an EP (2020's ‘Demons’), a live acoustic record (2020's ‘Monarch Sessions’), an album of traditionals (2021's ‘Stolen Goods’), and a full-length studio album (2022's ‘Thick As Thieves’) under the label. A perfect concoction of songwriting and musicality, non-stop touring, and charming stage personas have allowed the band to build a grassroots following of "Tejomies" (the moniker affectionately given to their fans) across the globe.

Outside of the studio, Tejon Street Corner Thieves' live show is truly an unforgettable experience. Fans enjoy a party-like atmosphere, and tend to let loose– they may end up shirtless, crowd surfing, or participating in a bluegrass mosh pit. Their infectious live performances have earned them tours with a diverse roster of artists, including The Dead South, Amigo the Devil, Trampled By Turtles, and The Infamous Stringdusters. The Corner Thieves are currently on tour supporting The Dead South throughout Europe, and then will hit the road with Amigo the Devil as direct support on all of his tour dates this fall, where fans can hear all the new tunes live.
