That spectacle arrives in the Colorado high country this summer as AEG Presents brings the band to Vail for a one-night celebration of the Floyd catalog, delivered with massive sound, meticulous musicianship, and the kind of visual theater that has made TAPFS a global phenomenon.
On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater will host the band’s Happiest Days of Our Lives Tour, a greatest-hits-spanning set built for longtime devotees and first-timers alike. With a new stage design and fresh video animation alongside cutting-edge lighting, precision lasers, high-resolution LED screen technology, and true-to-Floyd special effects, the show is designed to bring the scale and wonder of the original productions roaring back to life.
Over the years, TAPFS has worked with Pink Floyd touring musicians including Guy Pratt and Durga McBroom, and the group’s connection to Floyd’s performance lineage runs deep. Lorelei McBroom—who sang with Pink Floyd’s touring band during both A Momentary Lapse of Reason and Delicate Sound of Thunder tours—has been a key member of the ensemble for more than a decade, adding another layer of authenticity to a production already known for its detail and care.
So much more than a tribute act, The Australian Pink Floyd helped pioneer the arena-scale Pink Floyd tribute concept, inspiring an entire genre of large-format “experience” shows in its wake.
