The Barr Brothers will bring their 2026 headlining tour to Fox Theatre in Boulder on Friday, March 13, and Bluebird Theatre in Denver on Saturday, March 14, in support of their new album Let it Hiss (Secret City). The show follows the band’s recent fall arena tour supporting Mumford & Sons, which included performances across Europe and a hometown arena show at Montreal’s Bell Centre. The band made their return to CBS Saturday Morning (their third appearance on the show) last week for a three-song performance including “Run Right Into It,” “Another Tangerine” and “Naturally” from the album.

Internationally renowned for their virtuosic musicianship and electrifying live performances, The Barr Brothers have been busy since the release of Let it Hiss in October, including U.S. and international arena dates with Mumford & Sons (who drummer Andrew Barr joined on their recent Rushmere tour as well). Guitarist Brad also released a recording of his song “Growing Up Sideways,” composed using a unique string bow technique that he learned from watching Romanian violinist Nicolae Neasçu. Brad’s videos demonstrating the technique and playing “Growing Up Sideways” have accrued millions of views and notes from fans since November. Let it Hiss was also nominated for a Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year, the band’s fourth career nomination.
Let it Hiss – Brad and Andrew Barr’s first album in nearly 8 years – has been met with raves. The album was produced by Brad and Andrew, working primarily as a duo out of their Montreal studio, and worked with mix engineer Jon Low (The National, Taylor Swift, Bon Iver). In addition to Elizabeth Powell’s (Land Of Talk) contributions on “Run Right Into It,” the album also features guest appearances from Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Patrick Watson, and Klo Pelgag. Their fourth studio album isn’t just a collection of 10 vital new songs, it’s a document of transformation. The result of a pivotal shift: a pause for reflection, a reckoning with vulnerability, and a reconnection between two brothers who’ve spent their entire lives making music side by side.
Released last summer as the second preview of Let it Hiss, the propulsive open-road anthem “Run Right Into It” was also released with a new mix by Rich Costey (Death Cab For Cutie, The Killers, Haim, Foster the People) and climbed the charts, placing in the top 40 for 3 weeks, at AAA radio. The album has also seen extensive support on DSPs, with new tracks appearing on playlists like Fresh Folk (Spotify), and Wax Eclectic (Apple Music).
The Barr Brothers – formed by Brad and Andrew Barr – released their debut album in 2010 and have since been awarded Three Félix Awards in Quebec, three JUNO Award nominations for Adult Alternative Album of the Year, and a Polaris Music Prize longlist placement. They are regular-rotation fixtures on NPR, SiriusXM, KCRW, KEXP and have made multiple national TV appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman and CBS Saturday Morning. Their music has also been heard on programs like True Detective, Your Honor, Catfish, Rookie Blue and more, and their work has earned praise from legends such as Robert Plant, Bon Iver, David Crosby and Bill Kreutzmann. Brad and Andrew also co-wrote a song for the movie “The Iron Claw” featuring Jeremy Allen White titled “Live That Way Forever” with Richard Reed Perry and Little Scream.
When The Barr Brothers aren’t touring, or performing together in their beloved band The Slip, Andrew has spent time playing drums for Feist, Gracie Abrams, Broken Social Scene and others. Brad has explored a wide array of collaborations and released his meditative solo album The Winter Mission in 2022.
