Uncle Lucius will bring their 20th Anniversary Tour to Boulder’s Fox Theatre on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 pm with the show beginning at 8:00 pm.
Tickets go on sale at 10:00 am Friday, March 13. General admission tickets are available HERE. The show is all ages, with guests under 16 admitted with an adult.
Last month Uncle Lucius released Live from Ear Studio, recorded live to tape at Ear Studio in Austin, Texas. The record features select songs from their latest LP Like It’s The Last One Left along with three covers: “Bertha” by the Grateful Dead, “Shadow People” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and “Just To Satisfy You,” made popular by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.
Uncle Lucius has long been known for their distinctive blend of roots rock & roll and country soul. With the addition of guitarist Doug Strahan and bassist Drew Scherger, the band has expanded its musical palette, exploring new sonic landscapes while leaning into the energy that comes from following creative instincts wherever they lead. The results onstage speak for themselves.
Following the band’s farewell tour in 2018, Uncle Lucius’ audience continued to grow organically. Their song “Keep the Wolves Away” found new life after being featured in an episode of Yellowstone, eventually earning both RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications.
After several years on hiatus, the band returned with a renewed outlook and a fresh set of ideas. Drawing on themes of resilience and perseverance, they released their first album in eight years, Like It’s The Last One Left, last December via Thirty Tigers / Boo Clap Records. Since their return, the band has toured extensively worldwide, and the album’s second single, “All The Angelenos,” recently reached #5 on the Texas Radio Charts.
With two decades of music behind them and new momentum pushing forward, Uncle Lucius continues to evolve while staying rooted in the soulful sound that has defined the band since the beginning.
