The Wild Honey Foundation and the Zevon Family will present Join Me in L.A.: The Songs of Warren Zevon on October 24, 2025, at 8 p.m. at the United Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.
Celebrating the enduring brilliance of Los Angeles legend Warren Zevon, this event brings together the Jordan Summers/Nick Vincent-led Wild Honey Orchestra and Friends for an all-star performance of over 25 songs spanning Zevonâs entire career. Hosted by renowned rock journalist Chris Morris, the show will feature Zevonâs gritty, witty, and emotionally charged songs performed by some of L.A.âs greatest musicians and Zevonâs closest collaborators.
Performers include Jackson Browne, Dwight Yoakam, Jorge CalderĂłn, and members of Zevonâs original bands: Leland Sklar, Rick Marotta, Bob Glaub, Matt Cartsonis, and many others. Also appearing are David Marks (original Beach Boys member), Dennis Diken (The Smithereens), Fountains of Wayne, Phil Cody, Shooter Jennings, Marshall Crenshaw, Billy Valentine, Susan Cowsill, Adam Weiner (Low Cut Connie), John Wesley Harding, Leslie Mendelson, Steve Wynn (Dream Syndicate), Chris Stills, Inara George, and Eleni Mandell.
This will be a truly unforgettable and deeply emotional celebration of one of rockâs most literate and influential songwriters.
âWhen the P.E. coach called roll on the first day of 10th grade, two students answered âhereâ to the name JordanâJordan Summers and Jordan Zevon. Despite my alphabetical advantage, we became instant friends and formed our first band a month later. Warren Zevon showed up to our first gig that year at Madame Wong’s… My best friendâs dad taught me âWerewolves of Londonâ over the phone.
âWeâve continued Warrenâs legacy through performances supporting ADAOâs mesothelioma awareness efforts, where Jordan now serves as national spokesman. When Wild Honey decided to do a Warren Zevon tribute, it felt inevitable. This show is the pre-party for many of Warrenâs former bandmates, partners, and family to play him into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame two weeks later.â
Founded in 2004, ADAO is the largest independent asbestos victimsâ organization in the U.S., raising awareness about the dangers of asbestos exposure and advocating for a global asbestos ban.
