Started in 2010, The Werk Out Festival holds a special place not only to fans of The Werks, but in the greater Columbus-community as a whole. Without backing from mega-investors or corporate sponsors, The Werk Out Festival has maintained a loyal fanbase who make the annual trek to the festival to immerse themselves in a one-of-kind community notorious for forming lifelong friendships. This community of music lovers has grown from a tiny regional following and evolved into people traveling from New York, Colorado, Texas, California, and far and wide to enjoy the offerings and world-class lineups. The festival takes place at Legend Valley, a historic concert venue and campground that has housed the likes of The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, and countless others who have left a permanent footprint in the jam community. Aside from the stacked lineups, Rob Chafin of The Werks and his partners try to foster a community where musicians and fans can interact like nowhere else and form bonds that last a lifetime.
Additionally, The Werk Out Festival is known for one-of-a-kind collaborations. This year’s festival will host ‘We Are The Champions’ - A Tribute to Queen ft. members of Turkuaz, Papadosio, Dopapod, The Werks & The Motet as well as Pink Floyd’s The Wall ft. members of Papadosio, Dopapod, and The Werks.
In the coming weeks, the festival looks forward to announcing additional details on programming and one-of-a-kind experiences to celebrate The Werk Out’s 10th Anniversary.
