Widespread Panic and the University of Georgia are coming home. In partnership with lifestyle brand Class Trip, two Georgia icons have united for a limited-edition collection that celebrates the band’s Athens roots and the school’s enduring Bulldog spirit.

The UGA × Widespread Panic “Class Trip” Collection launches November 14 at 11 AM EST exclusively at classtrip.co, blending the timeless aesthetics of collegiate life with the freewheeling soul of a band that helped define the Athens music scene. Fans can expect premium headwear, hoodies, t-shirts, knitwear, and a retro-inspired bomber jacket that nods to Panic’s formative years performing around campus at spots like the Mad Hatter Ballroom and Uptown Lounge.

To mark the release, frontman John Bell will perform the National Anthem before kickoff at the Georgia vs. Texas football game on Saturday, November 15, live from Sanford Stadium — uniting Bulldog pride and the music culture that has inspired generations of Athens fans.

The celebration continues with a special UGA × WSP Pop-Up Shop at the Georgia Theatre on November 15, open from 11 AM to 6 PM EST. The immersive experience will feature limited apparel, archival visuals, and continuous screenings of the newly remastered Panic in the Streets documentary, revisiting the band’s legendary 1998 free concert in downtown Athens that drew over 100,000 fans.

Coinciding with the apparel launch are two major archival releases. Athens 1998 — the sixteenth installment in Widespread Panic’s acclaimed live multi-track series — will be released on vinyl December 19, 2025, with presales beginning November 14 via Class Trip. Additionally, fans can relive the energy of the Classic City through a newly remixed and remastered edition of Panic in the Streets, capturing one of the most iconic performances in Athens’ storied music history.
