Wreckless Strangers continue their album release celebration this spring with upcoming San Francisco Bay Area performances, including a newly added appearance at the historic Smiley’s Saloon in Bolinas on May 30 and a free show at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell in San Francisco on May 15.

Riding momentum from national radio airplay and climbing the Top 50 Americana and AAA Singles charts, the band is touring behind their brand-new studio album, Dirty Souls. The six-song collection marks Wreckless Strangers’ rawest and most visceral effort to date — a modern take on the arena rock of the ’70s and ’80s that shaped their earliest musical influences.

The album’s first single, “Dirty Soul”, released January 23, is currently receiving national airplay and is available across major streaming platforms. The full album dropped March 27.

Concert attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase CD copies of Dirty Souls at upcoming live performances. Review and airplay copies remain available upon request.

Earlier this spring, the band performed live on the famed Americana Roots station WMOT “Wired In” in Nashville, Tennessee, and on WDVX’s “Big Plate Radio Show” in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Wreckless Strangers is a collective of friends and musicians carrying the torch for San Francisco’s grand rock ’n’ roll tradition. Their unique blend of “Ameri-Cali Soul” melds the contemporary blues stylings of Bonnie Raitt and Boz Scaggs; the songwriting sensibilities of Sons of Champlin and Fleetwood Mac; the swashbuckling Americana of the Lost Planet Airmen and Peter Rowan; and the funk of Sly Stone and Tower of Power, with a dash of Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane for flavor and unpredictability.

With soaring vocal harmonies and burning instrumental improvisation framed by concise, poignant original songwriting, Wreckless Strangers seek to honor and carry forth the free-spirited musical fun and adventure that defines the Bay Area.

The band features Amber Morris on lead vocals; David Noble on lead guitar and lead vocals; Joshua Zucker on bass and vocals; Mick Hellman on drums and vocals; Rob Anderson on guitar and vocals; and Fletcher Nielsen on keys.

Dirty Souls marks the band’s third studio release with Grammy-winning producer Dave Way, whose production fosters a level of depth and organic cohesion that firmly establishes Wreckless Strangers within San Francisco’s storied rock ’n’ roll legacy.

The songwriting is among the band’s most intimate and personal to date, exploring themes of relationships, loss, empowerment, and perseverance. Co-lead singers Amber Morris and David Noble function as a single organism, bringing the songs to life with bluesy grit, soul, and humanity bolstered by rock-solid, road-hewn grooves.
