Yachtley Crew, renowned as the “Titans of Soft Rock,” set sail into Denver’s live-music scene on Friday, June 13, 2025, with a headline performance at the Paramount Theatre (1621 Glenarm Place). As part of their Seas The Night World Tour—a celebration of the golden era of mellow grooves and nautical flair—the band promises an evening of polished harmonies, saxophone solos, and a spirited embrace of yacht rock’s enduring charm.
Formed by seven seasoned musicians donning captain’s hats and seafaring suits, Yachtley Crew channels the breezy sounds of the late 1970s and early ’80s with humor and musicianship. Lead vocalist Phillip “Philly Ocean” Daniel guides the ensemble through smooth renditions of soft-rock classics, while Rob “Sailor Hawkins” Jones’s drum grooves, Chaz “Baba Buoy” Ruiz’s warm bass lines, Tommy Buoy’s tasteful guitar riffs, Stoney Shores’s lush backing vocals, Pauly Shores’s jazzy saxophone and flute interludes, and Matthew McDonald’s keyboard textures combine to recreate—and gently parody—the era’s laid-back sophistication.
Television audiences have caught the Crew’s swagger on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live and on nationally broadcast New Year’s specials for KLAS and KTLA. They’ve broken yacht-rock barriers on SiriusXM’s Yacht Rock 311, appeared on Fox News segments, and shared the screen in HBO’s documentary Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary. Last December, they delivered holiday cheer with Seas And Greetings, a festive EP that further cemented their place in the movement.
With summer 2025 on the horizon, Yachtley Crew has released “Lowdown,” the first single from their forthcoming album, Seas The Night (due August 2025). True to form, the band continues to lend musical support to charitable efforts, most recently teeing off at the Mario Lopez Golf Classic Tournament to raise funds for youth-focused causes.
Following Denver, the Seas The Night World Tour will navigate an extensive North American itinerary, touching cities from Tempe and Rapid City to Boston and San Francisco. Highlights include back-to-back shows at Tempe’s The Marquee (June 6–7), an outdoor amphitheater date in Omaha (June 14), and a two-night engagement at Idaho’s CDA Casino Event Center over Independence Day weekend.
