After a year of anticipation, the 14th iteration of Cali Roots once again graced the historic stages of the Monterey Fairgrounds. Through the years, the annual Montereggae classic has proven time and time again to be so much more than a festival—an annual family reunion for a worldwide community. With lines extending blocks down the street, droves of fans began lining up outside the gates hours before the festival opened, anxiously awaiting the start of another year of this momentous gathering.

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats have confirmed a new run of U.S. tour dates and festival appearances this fall, including stops in San Diego and Kansas City, as well as performances at Farm Aid, the Outlaw Music Festival, and more. Additionally, Rateliff will accompany Mumford & Sons as a solo artist for select dates on their “Mumford & Sons and Friends Tour.”

Oteil Burbridge will hit the road this autumn with the Oteil & Friends Fall Tour 2025, a seven-date run that travels down the East Coast from Maine to Florida. Joining Burbridge are Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Jason Crosby, Tom Guarna, John Kimock and Lamar Williams Jr., forming the full Oteil & Friends ensemble for this outing.

Boulder Theater will be awash in vintage Hammond tones and cosmic grooves this Halloween weekend when Melvin Seals & JGB headline back-to-back nights on Friday, October 31, 2025, and Saturday, November 1, 2025. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; the show begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 13 at 10 a.m. MT at Z2 Entertainment.

Twisted Pine is coming to Colorado for a week beginning June 20,  to tour their joyous new  LP, Love Your Mind, out from Signature Sounds Recordings. Dubbed “a band to watch” by NPR, Twisted Pine has a strong devotion to Colorado, having found many fans at festivals which include Telluride Bluegrass Festival, RockyGrass Festival, WinterWondergrass / Steamboat Springs, and MeadowGrass.

Downtown Boulder will pulse with future-funk energy on Saturday, July 5 when Denver’s own The Motet turn the Boulder Theater into the official Pholsom Field After-Party. Previously teased as “A Tribute to Jamiroquai featuring ?????,” the show now stands revealed as The Motet’s first single-artist homage in twelve years.

The cohesive sound of East Nash Grass isn’t that of a relatively newly-formed band, not even close. The unity of the 2024 IBMA New Artist of the Year-winning quintet is that of road-honed, finely-aged legends, and the tunes on their upcoming album, All God’s Children, might give a little insight into where and how their connection came to be. Despite where its title may lead, All God’s Children isn’t a gospel album. But, it’s not exactly not a spiritual album, either.

Turnpike Troubadours appeared this past weekend on CBS Mornings’ “Saturday Sessions” in support of their widely acclaimed new album, The Price of Admission. The band delivered a powerful three-song performance featuring album standouts “Heaven Passing Through,” “Nothing You Can Do,” and “On the Red River.” In conversation with Anthony Mason, lead singer Evan Felker also spoke about the band’s origins, their creative process, and the passion that continues to drive Turnpike Troubadours’ unique sound.
