Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, the psychedelic-funk trailblazers celebrated for their incendiary live shows, relentless touring, and devoted fan base, today announce their eighth studio album, Feed The Fire, set for release on October 3, 2025, via No Coincidence Records. Alongside the album reveal, the band unleashes the electrifying first single, “Calm Before the Storm” – a horn-fueled, groove-laden anthem showcasing their signature fusion of funk, rock, and improvisational fire.
Feed The Fire crystallizes 16 years of evolution for the quartet—vocalist/guitarist “Scrambled Greg” Ormont, guitarist Jeremy Schon, bassist Ben Carrey, and drummer Alex “Gator” Petropulos. The 12-track LP pushes their sound into its brightest, most expansive incarnation yet, weaving rich textures, inventive arrangements, and adventurous collaborations with genre-bending talents like Moon Taxi’s Wes Bailey, Here Come The Come Mummies’ brass section, producer Chalk Dinosaur, and more.

Pigeons will bring Feed The Fire to life this fall, touring through the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South and Midwest, featuring support from breakout acts Eggy, Dogs in a Pile, DIZGO, and blues virtuoso Eddie 9V. The run kicks off in October, and includes stops at Boston, MA’s Paradise Rock Club, Raleigh, NC’s Lincoln Theater, New Orleans, LA’s Tipitina’s, and St. Louis, MO’s The Sovereign.
