The release was previously only available on a limited run of vinyl.

Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars just released his new solo album, Magic Music For Family Folk via New West/Antone's Records. The 11-song set was produced by Dickinson and features his rendition of favorite songs from his childhood by The Meters, Staple Singers, John Lee Hooker, Mississippi John Hurt, Doc Watson and more.

Congratulations to Ibrahim Maalouf for earning a GRAMMY nomination for Best Global Music Performance for his song “Todo Colores” featuring Tank & the Bangas and Cimafunk. This is the French-Lebanese trumpeter/composer and global music star’s second career GRAMMY nomination. Last year he earned his first nomination for Best Global Album for Queen Of Sheba, created with Angelique Kidjo.

Fresh off a "Best Bluegrass Album" GRAMMY Nomination, Mighty Poplar is headed out on the road in Winter 2024. Bringing together Andrew Marlin from Watchhouse, Noam Pikelny and Chris Eldridge from Punch Brothers, and Greg Garrison (Leftover Salmon), Mighty Poplar was formed as a vehicle for these artists to explore their love of improvisation through bluegrass. Julian Lage has released “Omission” — a reverent new single imbued with a pastoral swing — and announced his upcoming Speak to Me Tour which will take the guitar virtuoso across the United States and Europe in Spring 2024. “Omission” finds the acclaimed producer Joe Henry enhancing Lage’s trademark melodic lyricism and features Julian on acoustic and electric guitars, Jorge Roeder on bass, Dave King on drums, and Patrick Warren on piano.

The Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra will present a world premiere of Vicente Gomez’s Concierto Flamenco on November 18, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Brooklyn Museum. World-class artist and prize-winning classical guitarist Virginia Luque will perform the concierto accompanied by the orchestra.  

Percy Howard, a NorCal based singer-songwriter and product of the New York no-wave avant-garde, has performed and or toured with members of Living Colour, King Crimson, Swans, Guns N’ Roses (Buckethead), Oxbow, Henry Cow, This Heat, and Brand X. Percy has also shared European festival stages with Brazilian music legend Caetano Veloso and ambient pioneer Stephan Micus.
