Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley is proud to receive a GRAMMY Award for Stony Hill in the category of "Best Reggae Album." This marks his 4th GRAMMY Award, having previously won "Best Urban Alternative Performance" for his groundbreaking acclaimed single “Welcome to Jamrock” and others for "Best Reggae Album" for his studio albums Welcome to Jamrock and Half Way Tree.
The Ben Miller Band is set to return with Choke Cherry Tree via New West Records this Friday, January 26th, 2018. The Joplin, Missouri-bred combo’s third album and second New West Records release introduces a retooled lineup with Miller and fellow founding member Scott Leeper joined by new additions Rachel Ammons and Smilin’ Bob Lewis. The pair’s multi-instrumental skills bring added authority to Miller’s rootsy new compositions while maintaining the high energy level that originally endeared the band to its fans.

The Doug Fir show, the second of gigs, was a tiny, intimate venue and sold out. The crowd anticipated a memorable performance, and the band delivered. One of the highlights of the night, and there were many, was Fruition's Mimi Naja joining in on guitar and vocals for the song 'I Am a Mess.'

French Quarter Festival presented by Chevron, New Orleans' premier free festival featuring the largest showcase of Louisiana's unique music, food, arts and culture, "makes" 35 this year- while the city of New Orleans turns 300. French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI), the local nonprofit that produces the festival, today announced this year's event will take place April 12-15, 2018.
