Orange Blossom Revue marked the conclusion of its 9th annual festival with a record turnout this weekend. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Wailes Park in central Florida, the two-day musical extravaganza continues to rank among the year's most eagerly awaited events, attracting thousands of enthusiastic attendees to the charming town each year.

Before Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday--the organizers of Record Store Day began the RSD Black Friday event as a way to highlight and include independent record stores in the biggest shopping day of the year. Since then, record stores have started the holiday shopping season with an RSD Black Friday twist: a curated list of releases created especially for them, adding to the mix of items already found in record stores, all of which make exceptionally good gifts.

The jam-heavy, improvisational quartet Spafford played a phenomenal show last week at Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC.  Spafford took the stage and launched the first set with original song "Double Time" which is full of rock heavy riffs and strong vocals from guitarist Brian Moss.  After a smooth rendition of Steve Kimock's song "Ice Cream," Spafford really took it to another level with the three-song combo "Pursuit of Trance*">"America">"The Waltz."

The historic Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara celebrated its 150th anniversary with an exceptional performance on November 18th. In 2019, the legendary rock band KISS embarked on their farewell tour, known as the "End of the Road" tour. They initially planned their final performance for the summer of 2021 at an undisclosed location. However, the pandemic led to the postponement and eventual cancellation of many tours, including theirs. Their touring resumed in 2021, and they recently announced their final shows for December 2023.
