Each year, Sixthman allows artists to propose their dream collaboration sets to take place on the ship. Last week, on board Cayamo: A Journey Through Song, the Stardust Theater came alive with the sounds of Dirt Does Dylan, a Bob Dylan tribute set hosted by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, that featured David Bromberg, Jeff Tweedy, Larry Campbell, Teresa Williams, Amy Helm, and other special guests.
Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams have shared "Caravan," (listen/share), the third song to be released in advance of the husband and wife duo's upcoming live album, Live At Levon's! due February 3 on Royal Potato Family. The 12-track collection was recorded in front of a hometown crowd at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY on September 20 and 21, 2019.
The Americana singer-songwriter Roger Street Friedman has just released “Annabelle,” the second single from his forthcoming album ‘Love Hope Trust,’ out 11/4. Sea Cliff, NY-based Americana singer-songwriter Roger Street Friedman is set to head into the studio in March and April to work on new music with Grammy Award winner Larry Campbell (Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble, Bob Dylan’s Never Ending Tour) producing songs for Friedman’s next full-length release. Setting up in Friedman’s home studio, The Playroom, Campbell and Friedman will be joined by Friedman’s band to record an album’s-worth of new folk/Americana songs Friedman wrote over the past two years during the pandemic.
