Summer Camp Music Festival proudly presents the final lineup additions for their 20th Anniversary celebration next month. Get ready for a 2nd set of Billy Strings, plus Dirty Heads, Subtronics, Death Kings (Ryan Stasik, Mike Gantzer, & Mikey Carubba), Ghost-Note, Karina Rykman, KellerSquabi, lespecial, Maggie Rose, MonoNeon, Saxsquatch, & more as they join an already stacked lineup.

These performers join the August 20th - 22nd dates along with the majority of the festival’s original 2020 lineup.

For the second time this year, the jam industry is rallying around Chris Friday, a Burlington-based music industry figure. Earlier this year, Friday received the devastating news that his 11-year-old son, Iggy, contracted Acute Lymphoid Leukemia. This week, several notable bands and artists once again donated a multitude of unique merchandise for auction. The auction runs from July 7th - 11th 5 PM ET.

New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club announces the return of Grammy Award-winning trumpet icon Chris Botti to the Blue Note stage for his 17th annual holiday residency. From December 6 to January 2, Botti will perform two shows a night at 8 pm and 10:30 pm ET. The schedule includes performances on Christmas and New Year’s Eve, ringing in 2022 and rounding out Blue Note’s historic 40th anniversary celebration.

For the 26th time in 28 years, Blues Traveler returned to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sunday for their annual Independence Day celebration. Although it was the Fourth of July, the band and crowd celebrated freedom on a number of levels outside of the national holiday, including freedom from COVID, from masks, from isolation.

For the first time in its 49-year history, the celebrated RockyGrass bluegrass festival will offer a dynamic livestream. Produced by award-winning NOCOAST TV, the high-definition stream, which features 8 cameras and stereo audio will be available July 23rd to 25th, 2021.

This past year was a long year for all of us. No restaurants, movie theaters, parties or concerts. The lockdown came just as Colin Hay was preparing to leave for what he considered his most comprehensive North American tour ever. A few dates were played before venues were sealed shut. Now, as the world slowly and surely resumes some semblance of normalcy, Hay is heading out on the road for real.
