Bassist Sam Grisman, son of legendary mandolinist David Grisman, is forming a new band to honor the musical legacy of his father and his dear friend Jerry Garcia. Sam Grisman Project brings together a group of incredibly versatile and talented musicians who are also some of his closest friends. The core four members of the group, Grisman, Ric Robertson, Aaron Lipp, and Chris English will be touring heavily in 2023 and beyond.

Last night in San Diego at the famous Humphrey's By The Bay, three members of the alt/Americana/roots band Greensky Bluegrass joined Bobby Weir & the Wolf Pack for three songs to kick off the band's second set.

Trampled by Turtles, the American original Minnesota-based sextet, is back with a highly-anticipated new album, Alpenglow. Their tenth, and perhaps finest album yet, is produced by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, and will be released on October 28th.

The Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado, will be inducted into Colorado Music Hall of Fame on November 4, 2022, during The Fox’s thirtieth-anniversary concert series. Before moe. takes the stage on the first of a three-night stint, legendary music promoter Chuck Morris, founder of Colorado Music Hall of Fame, will formally induct The Fox into The Hall of Fame.

East Austin-based Modern Rocks Gallery announces their latest exhibition, “David Bowie: Starman,” featuring a collection of rare David Bowie prints spanning the prolific artist’s career. Steven Walker, owner of Modern Rocks Gallery, curated the exhibition which features many of Bowie’s most iconic shots, including album covers, obtained directly from the photographers themselves. The exhibition will run from Nov. 11 through the end of 2022 with an opening reception on Friday, Nov. 11 from 7 - 10 p.m.

Newly-minted, genre-bending outfit LVNDR.SOUND is making its mark on the Denver music scene. Composed of SunSquabi bassist Josh Fairman, keyboardist/sound design virtuoso Geoff Bremer and multi-instrumentalist Jay.Greens, the electronic trio blends future bass, electro-soul, house, and nu-age funk to create dynamic soundscapes that pay homage to their city’s multifaceted cultural roots.
