Moon Hooch have announced Fall 2017 tour dates. The 18-show headline run will make stops throughout the Midwest and Rocky Mountains, including their biggest performances yet in Chicago, Minneapolis and Denver. The Brooklyn-based double sax and drums trio, who Brooklyn Vegan declared "bring the party to wherever they play," conclude the trek in the Southeast with two nights in Atlanta and Jacksonville. Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday, June 2 at 1PM ET.

Boston Calling returned to Boston, MA, this past weekend in an entirely new form – a venue that featured grass. Previously held in Boston’s City Hall Plaza, this year’s festival was held at the Harvard Athletic Complex, trading the concrete ground of downtown Boston for the open-space fields of Cambridge’s most elite school.
This is a straight ahead Rock & Roll song. There's a little bit of that sense of angst and that sort of "I don't need" attitude which is always a fun lyrical message to deliver in a song. We've been playing this song for about two years in our set and it's become a favorite of our fans. I think our friends and fans will be really excited to finally have a recording of it."

New Orleans Suspects brings together some of the best, most highly respected players in New Orleans including: “Mean” Willie Green on drums (Neville Bros.); Jeff Watkins on saxophone (James Brown Band, Joss Stone Band); Jake Eckert on guitar/vocals (Dirty Dozen Brass Band); CR Gruver on keyboards and vocals (Polytoxic, Outformation); and Eric Vogel (Tony Hall Band) on bass guitar. Tracing the origins of a traditional American genre back to early immigrants, Sollee takes a nontraditional approach, blending the influences of early Irish and Scottish musicians with the rhythms of Mexico, Africa and India.

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Grateful Dead documentary, The Grateful Dead Movie. Co-directed by Jerry Garcia and Leon Gast, this concert film features live performances from the October 1974 5-night run at San Francisco’s iconic Winterland held during the band’s so-called “retirement” prior to taking a two-year sabbatical. Performances include “U.S. Blues,” “One More Saturday Night,” “Casey Jones,” “Playing in the Band” and “Sugar Magnolia,” among other Dead classics.

The 35-date run, stretching from September though November, supports their new studio album of the same name due July 21 on Robinson's own Silver Arrow Records. The tour covers much of the U.S. with stops across the Gulf Coast, Southeast, Northeast and Midwest.

Jean Michel Jarre, a French pioneer in electronic music and a true living legend in the world of pop music, gave his first live performance in Los Angeles as part of his first tour of the United States ever, at the Microsoft Theater, Saturday, May 27. Jarre is famous worldwide for his live performances and has drawn the largest crowd ever for a live performance, with an estimated three and a half million in attendance at a Moscow concert.

Jesse Royal releases the first single, “Always Be Around,” from his upcoming debut full-length this Friday, May 26. Two days earlier, the song will be premiered on Wednesday, May 24, via the Mass Appeal website. This release marks the first collaboration with U.S.-based indie tastemaker label Easy Star Records, giving a taste from what is sure to be one of the biggest reggae albums of the year.
