97.3 KBCO is pleased to present On Tap with KBCO Hurricane Relief Concert October 8th at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton, CO. This event will feature all day music, Breckenridge Brewery beers, and raise money for Hurricane relief with Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.  Proceeds to benefit Rebuild Texas Fund, Feeding Florida and Global Giving.

If you happened to be walking around Williamsburg in the late September weekend, taking in the unseasonably warm weather or grabbing a bite to eat, things would have seemed like any other weekend. Maybe you noticed the matching wristbands of the people walking back and forth along Wythe Avenue, or you saw the groups of people hanging around smoking cigarettes outside a few music venues from early afternoon until late into the night, but nothing that struck you as particularly noteworthy.

The 405 has premiered the fifth and final single from Joseph Childress entitled "Leaving The Barren Ground". Prior to this track, Folk Radio U.K. debuted "Whispering Tide", Raven Sings The Blues premiered "Footsteps", Magnet premiered "White Castle Creek Mother", and Flood premiered "Virginia Bound". Joseph has shared intimate bills with many of folks top acts including Joanna Newsom, Kevin Morby, Little Wings, Devendra Banhart, Vetiver, Richard Buckner and Mount Eerie.

Colorado band Big Head Todd and the Monsters are set to release their eleventh studio album, New World Arisin’ on November 3 on their Big Records imprint. The first single “Damaged One” is currently at #26 and rising on the AAA Chart. Listen HERE.

Old Shoe is excited to announce that the long awaited follow up to the band’s 2013 release, Family, is finally here. Country Home features 13 all-original tracks. In a search to find their own Country Home, the album was written over the course of the last couple years with a good portion of the tunes being written in Oneida County, WI at a country home. The album was recorded at the same studio as their earlier release Family, I.V. Labs Studio in Chicago and is engineered, mixed, and co-produced by Chris Harden.

Two years ago Steve Kimock spent a winter’s retreat in a barn with lots of acoustic guitars and an engineer making Last Danger of Frost.  To present this new music on tour, he created KIMOCK, with his son John Morgan Kimock on drums, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Leslie Mendelson, and old mate Bobby Vega on bass.  In the process they found themselves inspired to write lots more songs, which gives us Satellite City, which will be released October 27th

React, Rebirth Garments, and the Arts of Life Present Rotations: A Dance Party for Everybody, an event supporting and bringing together people with and without disabilities. The Arts of Life opened in Chicago in 2010, to create a rich creative arts community where artists with intellectual & developmental disabilities participate through leadership and collaboration.

Fresh off of their critically acclaimed debut release, Keys To The House, Richmond, VA’s The Trongone Band will embark on a fall tour in support of the LP. The band will join American Aquarium, Cris Jacobs and Reckless Kelly for North and Southeastern dates through November.

Stony Plain Records announces a November 17 release date for acclaimed guitarist Kevin Breit’s new CD, Johnny Goldtooth and The Chevy Casanovas. The new disc was written and produced by Kevin Breit. Kevin Breit is a master guitarist who has recorded with the likes of Norah Jones, Taj Mahal, Rosanne Cash, k.d. lang, Cassandra Wilson and Hugh Laurie.
