At this point, the Grateful Dead family of musicians has become so large that it’s easy to miss many of its component parts. So many of the fabulous artists that make up the backdrop of our glorious musical bloom get overlooked by the simple adage, “So much good music, so little time.” Yet despite what we Deadheads might miss in the plethora of it all, Bob Weir doesn’t.

For a lifelong troubadour, on the road for most of three decades before the pandemic, there's a rush of palpable emotion as Snider reunites with fans after such a period of uncertainty...joy, relief and gratitude; but also the poignant realities of friends lost along the way.

Montreux Jazz Festival and BMG are excited the share the brand-new music video for Chick Corea’s Interlude, performed live at Montreux in 2004. To tie in with today’s anticipated release of Chick Corea: The Montreux Years, the video for “Interlude” is a beautifully animated visualisation of the mid-century art inspired album artwork alongside live footage of Chick and his band during their 2004 performance at Montreux.

American roots-music collective Dustbowl Revival has teamed with Tiny Porch Concerts to launch the Paramount Ranch Sonic Boom Festival, which will also feature performances from Grammy winners Rebirth Brass Band, Dom Flemons & many more. The special one-day music celebration—presented with support from the Santa Monica Mountains Fund and the National Park Service—will be held Oct.

For decades, rumors have circulated among Creedence Clearwater Revival’s fans about a long-lost recording of their legendary 1970 show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
