Montana’s Satsang are back this fall with ‘Flowers From The Fray,’ the band’s finest work to date, out September 9th. Following the success of their previous release ‘All. Right. Now.,’ which was broad and spacious, reflecting the soaring mountains and “big soundscape” of McManus’s home state of Montana, ‘Flowers From The Fray’ finds the band stripping things down - removing the excess layers and filters, both creatively and professionally, and returning to something organic, authentic, and real.

We finally did it. We found a time where our schedules overlapped just enough to go on tour together! I’m excited to bring My Bluegrass Heart on tour with Punch Brothers this December. You’ll get a set from them, a set from me and my bluegrass band, and even a few tunes from all of us together…what’s better than a night of world class Bluegrass?!

Indy Festival Partners in association with the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center today announced a first look at the all-star band of artists that will participate in the first ever All IN Dreamset which will celebrate the songs of the Allman Brothers Band take place on night 1 of the inaugural All IN Music & Arts Festival, Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, 2022 in Indianapolis.

Both my husband and I have volunteered at the Frankfort Bluegrass Festival (FBF) for a few years. We’ve helped with early morning set-up and merchandise sales. Breakout group Kaleta & Super Yamba Band will take their lauded live show back on the road this summer and fall with an extensive run of North American dates. The shows kick off in Colorado Springs, CO tonight, August 9 and include debut festival appearances at Brooklyn’s Afropunk, Chicago’s World Music Festival and Louisville’s The Big Stomp as well as a performance at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
