This past weekend, Grammy award winning guitarist Eric Krasno set out on a coast-to-coast, two-week tour to promote his latest creation Always. Released on February 4th, this second solo endeavor is packed full of the quality compositions and visceral voyages that Krasno is recognized for in the studio as well as the live setting.

“Funky, cool and bad,” is how Robert Cray describes his latest album, That’s What I Heard, out February 28. “I thought if it we could get this thing that Sam Cooke used to have, the kind of sound that early Sam Cooke records had, that we could pull this off,” says producer Steve Jordan.

Following its sold-out inaugural year in 2019, THING, the intimate three-day multidisciplinary event located at Fort Worden in scenic Port Townsend, WA, returns August 26-28, 2022. Produced by Seattle Theatre Group (STG) and Adam Zacks—STG’s Chief Programming Officer and founder of the acclaimed Sasquatch! Festival—the event features a unique and eclectic offering of tightly curated programming including music, comedy, food, podcasts, visual arts and more.

One of Canada’s finest artists, Bruce Cockburn has enjoyed an illustrious career shaped by politics, spirituality, and musical diversity. His remarkable journey has seen him embrace folk, jazz, rock, and worldbeat styles while travelling to such far-flung places as Guatemala, Mali, Mozambique, and Nepal, and writing memorable songs about his ever-expanding world of wonders. “My job,” he explains, “is to try and trap the spirit of things in the scratches of pen on paper and the pulling of notes out of metal.”

Elaine May has had a singularly inspiring career as an actor, writer, and director, besides being at the center of the invention of improvisatory comedy. She and Mike Nichols took their act to New York City in the late 1950s and rapidly became the toast of the town, performing in nightclubs, appearing on TV shows, recording albums, and starring in their own Broadway show.
