Today, Virginia-based Americana pioneers The Steel Wheels have released new album Sideways via the band’s own Big Ring Records. Produced by Sam Kassirer (Lake Street Dive, Langhorne Slim, Josh Ritter), Sideways is at once a meditation on the nonlinear nature of personal growth and a joyous celebration of life. The Sandy Beaches Cruise has announced the initial line up for the 2025 voyage, welcoming an incredible line-up of artists that represent an array of American roots music. The seven-day trip will take place on Holland America’s beautiful Nieuw Amsterdam which departs out of Fort Lauderdale, FL on January 12th, with stops in San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Croix, USVI before returning to Ft.
