Today, Nashville’s The Arcadian Wild shared the new single “Corner” off their recently announced album Welcome, which will be released on July 21 via Vere Music. They’ve also shared a video for the delicate track, which celebrates the unconditional love from family figures, biological or chosen, who always have your back.

Few acts catapult their way to the forefront of modern rock music the way Boston-based quartet Neighbor has over the past few years. Boulder’s band Desolation Angels played last weekend at the Emerge 5K race. As with all free, live outdoor music, the audience was mainly immersed in their own conversation when the band began to play. With just the first two sung words, everyone went quiet. Dead & Company kicked off their Final Tour Saturday with a headlining single set at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Lightning and torrential rains delayed the festivities, with gates opening over an hour past the 11:00 am schedule, causing some of the earlier slated bands to be scrapped. The rain held off for most of Dead & Co’s electric-only set. The sun even managed to make a late-set appearance.
