GRAMMY® Award-winning, Chicago-based band Wilco and Chicago-based singer-songwriter pianist Neal Francis have united to co-release a joint live rendition of the Wilco classic, “Theologians.” Recorded earlier this year in front of a sold out festival crowd at Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky in Riviera Maya, Mexico, “Theologians” will be available on a pay-what-you-want basis via Bandcamp for one day only

Zero was formed in the early 1980s by guitarist Steve Kimock and drummer Greg Anton after playing with Keith & Donna Godchaux’s Heart Of Gold Band. Various San Francisco Bay and international artists have played with Zero, including Nicky Hopkins (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who) Pete Sears (Jefferson Starship), John Cipollina (Quicksilver Messenger Service), John Kahn (Jerry Garcia Band), and Vince Welnick (The Tubes, Grateful Dead).

Little Feat exploded out of its Covid hiatus with a fan-favorite “By Request Tour,” then began their tribute to the legendary live recording Waiting for Columbus, playing the song suite at every show.  It culminated in two recent shows in Nashville shot for PBS that featured multiple guests; the show will broadcast later this year.

Friends of Martha's Vineyard Concerts today announced the day by day schedule for Beach Road Weekend. Featuring more than two dozen acts including Beck, Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Billy Strings and more, the festival takes place August 26-28, 2022 at Veteran's Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven. In addition, the initial schedule for the 2022 MV Concert Series was announced with more than 20 concerts across Martha's Vineyard including the Loft.

Before the staff announced the start of the Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert at the historic Lobero Theatre on March 12th, it was revealed that the venue had officially been recognized as the fourth oldest continuously operating performance hall in the United States. For many years, the theater has been well known as a diverse performing arts center.

The Grammy-nominated vocalist Beth Hart has been gearing up for the release of her “Black Dog” music video for months, but unfortunately for undisclosed reasons, she isn’t able to include the audio. Never one to withhold from her fans, Hart decided to release the video anyway – just without the audio – in what may be the first ever “silent” music video release. “I really want you to see the video,” Hart explained in a message to her fans.

Joan Baez never imagined painting a portrait of a war hero. But since Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, she has been moved by the “unequivocal and astounding bravery” of its besieged president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and has honored him with a portrait meant to convey the sadness of war, the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the desire for peace.
