Tré Burt is announcing a run of home state shows coming off of his buzzing week at Americanafest in Nashville. Burt will be playing Gold Digger’s in L.A. and Amado’s in San Francisco ahead of his tour with Katie Pruitt later this year, which will cover the Midwest and east coast. Joel Cummins and Kris Myers from Umphrey's McGee will combine forces with Marcus Rezak on Friday, October 1st for an "after hours" gig proceeding the Afterburner Music Festival in Huntington Beach, Ca at My Place Sports Bar & Grill.

In 1971, Bobby Rush released “Chicken Heads” on Galaxy Records (later sold to Fantasy Records and Concord Music) and in the subsequent months it inched up the Billboard R&B chart, marking his first career hit. The B-side was a track called “Mary Jane.”

Today bassist, producer, and songwriter Joshua Crumbly released his new song “THREE” with an official video featuring animation by Renata Zeiguer. Featuring Michael Rocketship on synthesizer, “THREE” is the third single off of Crumbly’s upcoming sophomore full-length ForEver (out October 8th via Shahzad Ismaily’s figureight records).

The first-ever Black Opry Revue is coming to Rockwood Music Hall, showcasing the powerful lyrics and authentic harmonies central to the Black Opry community. The traditional songwriter’s round will feature the songs, stories, and camaraderie cultivated in the Black Opry community: a home for Black artists and Black fans of country, blues, folk, and Americana music.

The Mother Hips have shared new tour dates in support of their forthcoming album, Glowing Lantern, due December 3 on Blue Rose.

Phish will return for their fourteenth New Years Run at the storied Madison Square Garden on December 29, 2021 through January 1st, 2022. This is the first time that the band has played at the venue since the December 31st, 2019 New Years show that left guitarist Trey Anastasio stuck in the rafters on a dangling platform after a mechanical failure during their annual New Years gag.

The Rolling Stones today release the previously unheard track “Troubles A’ Comin” via Polydor/Interscope/UMe. The never-before-released song is set to feature on the upcoming, newly remastered 40th anniversary editions of chart-topping, multi-platinum 1981 album Tattoo You. “Troubles A’ Comin” is out today, September 30, listen here and watch the lyric video here.

Florida-based indie rock band flipturn will embark on its first national headline tour this fall. The Fall 2021 Warmth In The Rain Tour will bring the band’s magnetic energy to cities across the US.
