Atlanta Southern Rock Outfit Brother Hawk's Release Video For "Safe Passage" Offering A Guiding Light Through Dark Times

Funky, psychedelic, and extraordinarily groovy, Vancouver three-piece rock outfit Brass Camel’s debut record Brass was released last fall. Invoking the musical aptitude of heavy-hitting prog rock legends like Yes with the glitter-drenched, stadium-ready theatricality of Queen, Brass Camel’s sound will blast you through the annals of time and space into a previously extinct psychotropic fantasyland of musical delight.

On Wednesday, March 15th, Seattle-based original instrumental funk and soul powerhouse, True Loves, will embark on a west coast headlining tour in support of the re-mastered vinyl repress of their debut instrumental album, Famous Last Words, on Color Red.

Denver-based funk-ska-reggae-jam-rock septet, Float Like a Buffalo, announced on Monday the first round of dates of the Day Late, Dollar Short Tour, taking their high-energy show on the road from Colorado to Canada with Winnipeg-based psychedelic jazz rock/funk fusion band, Apollo Suns. Float Like a Buffalo has been touring nationally for the past 3 years, and this 5-week venture marks their first musical endeavor out of the United States.

On February 3, 2023, ambitious multi-form music project Unquiet Music Ltd issues its second official album “MEMEmusic” on CD and download (via Bandcamp). The album is composed by JP Rossi, and produced by Markus Reuter (Stick Men, Reuter/Motzer/Grohowski, Anchor & Burden), crossing multiple boundaries between the electronic and the acoustic, between complexity and simplicity, between deep contemporary classical structures and textures and punchy art rock drive.

Tunisian oud master and vocalist Dhafer Youssef has announced his forthcoming studio album, Street of Minarets, out January 27th via Back Beat Edition. The album is available now for pre-save HERE. The new single, and the album’s closer, “Ondes of Chakras” features a meditative build of sound created by a flurry of woodwind flourishes, groovy strings, and a percussive backdrop.
