Blues and rock prodigy, Eric Gales, will join blues-rock icon Devon Allman for two special benefit concerts, presented by Gibson Gives, at the National Blues Museum (NBM) in downtown St. Louis, MO on Friday, October 7 at 7pm and 9pm The concerts will also feature music by blues legend Albert King. Allman and Gales are generously donating all proceeds of this concert to the National Blues Museum to support the mission, music, and education programs.

Visionary guitarist Julian Lage has shared “Chavez,” his hard-driving new single which is available now to stream or download. An official live performance video featuring the extraordinary trio of Lage, bassist Jorge Roeder, and drummer Dave King also premieres today. “Chavez” marks the latest track release from Lage’s upcoming new album, View With A Room, arriving via Blue Note Records on Friday, September 16.

On Sunday, September 25, the WaterWheel Foundation, Osiris Media, and Nectar’s Presents will host an event, “Celebrating 25 Years of WaterWheel Foundation”—with music, conversation, special guests, and more. From 7-10 pm, there will be interviews with WaterWheel staff and supporters, and three sets of music—including a full set of music played in tribute to the Aquarium Rescue Unit.

Khruangbin and Malian guitarist Vieux Farka Touré share “Tongo Barra” today, a new preview from their collaborative album Ali honoring Vieux’s late father, the great Ali Farka  Touré, out September 23rd on Dead Oceans in partnership with Night Time Stories Ltd. “Tongo Barra'' is an engrossing, nearly six-minute cornerstone of Ali sung in the Malian Songhai dialect, following the album’s beguiling lead single “Savanne.”

This Labor day the Surf Hotel will host internationally acclaimed folk musicians Rising Appalachia to The LAWN. Rising Appalachia performed in the Ivy Ballroom to a nearly sold-out crowd in 2019, however, this will be the band's debut performance on The LAWN. The holiday concert will include two shows with the supporting band Birds of Play opening.
