A collective of two dozen musicians from the Jamband universe today announced a joint New Year’s Resolution to “Conspire to Smile” in 2018.
The project includes a studio album, social media thought experiment and Kickstarter campaign under the moniker “Conspire to Smile” with the intent of kickstarting compassion, smiles and communal strength through song.

On February 23rd, Round Records will release GarciaLive Volume Ten: May 20th, 1990 Hilo Civic Auditorium, recorded in Hilo, Hawaii. The recording captures the only performance by Jerry Garcia on the Hawaiian Islands, outside of the Grateful Dead’s appearance in 1970. GarciaLive Volume Ten is the first 2018 archival release in the continuing year-long celebration of Jerry Garcia’s 75th Birthday. The album will be available as a two-disc set, digital download and at streaming services.

John Kadlecik is a singer, songwriter, and musician who can play most string instruments but is primarily known for being a guitar-slinging sideman to Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir in the band Furthur. Also, an original co-founder of the group Dark Star Orchestra, John has been performing improvisationally-oriented shows regularly since the late 1980's and touring nationally for the last 20 years.
