To kick off The Beach Boys’ yearlong 60th anniversary celebration and provide the perfect summer soundtrack, Capitol Records and UMe today proudly release a newly remastered and expanded edition of the group’s career-spanning greatest hits collection, Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys. Originally released in 2003, the album soared to No. 16 in the US and stayed on the chart for 104 weeks.

Written, performed, and produced entirely by Paul McCartney, his three eponymous career-spanning solo albums (1970’s McCartney, 1980’s McCartney II, and 2020’s McCartney III) will now be packaged together and available in one special boxset for the first time.

The latest audio treasure to be excavated from Frank Zappa’s vast and legendary vault, Zappa/Erie, brings together an exciting trio of shows that the Maestro performed in Erie, Pa. and the surrounding area between 1974-76. Available now via Zappa Records/UMe, the new six-disc boxed set/digital collection contains more than seven hours of unreleased, electrifying live performances from Zappa and three different lineups of incredible musicians from this peak period.

“XYZ” can refer to several things such as the top-level domain name or the 80’s hard rock band.  It’s also the latest single from world-renowned electronic musician deadmau5 released today, June 17.  Fast tracking synths and driving beats dominate as a nine-and-a-half-minute instrumental, serving as the lead single from the We Are Friends Vol. 11 label compilation due out on mau5trap later this year.

Canadian roots/electronic duo Moontricks and their friends Dirtwire have teamed up to deliver a unique genre-bending and soulful track, “The Edge,” out today, June 17, via Westwood Recordings.
