Singer/songwriter, guitarist, and New Yorker Mike Fuller spent much of the pandemic like many of us– floating in existential dread, contemplating life and his future. With so many songs written, he now had the time and felt the drive to bring them to life on record. He found a theme in three of his songs: chaotic love stories which filled a decade of his life.

The Town and the City Festival has released the show-by-show schedule for the two-day music and arts festival in Lowell, Massachusetts set for Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd, 2021. In addition, several new acts have been announced for the lineup which includes more than 50 acts performing at 12 different venues. Advance Single Day Passes for the walkable festival are just $35 and will go on sale this Friday, August 6th at 10:00AM. Single show tickets will also go on sale this Friday.

Today, Georgia-based nine-piece band Funk You announced its plans for an upcoming album titled “Moving Forward.” Scheduled for release on September 10, 2021, the eight-track project is the band’s sixth studio release. “Moving Forward” was recorded at Prana Recording Studio by Will Clark and Andy Headland. The album was mixed by Andy Headland and Will Clark and mastered by Chris Griffin (Eric Clapton, Madonna).

Over the weekend, the Tedeschi Trucks Band made their annual return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre and once again gave the sold-out crowd four solid sets of soulful magic and hair-raising guitar work over two nights.

The long-awaited 23rd Rhythm & Roots Music, Dance and Food Festival will resume Sept. 3-5 at Ninigret Park with much-loved headliners, a jam band extravaganza, festival fan favorites and new voices that reflect the always-changing nature of roots music.

San Francisco-based singer-songwriter EllaHarp has released the latest single, “Sunshine and Roses,” from her upcoming full-length album Screaming Into The Void (out September 17). The song, while having a bright, positive title, was actually penned about EllaHarps ongoing battle with depression.

The Ellameno Beat, manned and armed by frontman Reggie Froom, released “Jump The Gun” on July 30th, 2021 across streaming services. The genre-warping track releases with an accompanying music video, both of which were created entirely in Froom’s home studio. An artist of multiple mediums and an avid music lover, Froom’s found inspiration in psychedelic rock, roots reggae, and funk, creating an output that is a personal blend all his own.

Today, Runaway Gin, a nationally acclaimed Phish tribute band announced a fifteen-date fall tour. Known as the world’s most active Phish tribute act, the group will make stops at various venues along the east coast before trekking out west. Additional highlights include a hometown tour opener at the Charleston Pour House, a visit to Resonance Music and Arts Festival, and a Trey Anastasio Band after-party in Charlotte, NC.
