Unlike larger festivals, Shoe Fest is a unique festival, in that it offers patrons folk-rooted music with multiple interactive experiences. The main focus of the festival is on bringing people of all ages together to relish in a carefree community where they can leave their busy lives behind and actually have a good time.

Last weekend, Claypool Lennon Delirium took their band to Colorado for a 3-night run. On Sunday, August 18th, they took the Boulder Theater stage for an unbelievable show.

Friday, August 16th The Alarm returned to Chicago at the House of Blues for an adrenal charged performance that started at full speed and continued to the final closing note. Universal Sigh released a new single on August 22, 2019 entitled “Bedrock & Paradox”. It is an upbeat, rock tune inspired by the struggle to remain present in the information age. The name of the song references the title of a chapter in the book Desert Solitaire by author and activist Edward Abbey. Bedrock & Paradox is a reminder that no one is immune from feelings of isolation and separation, even in times of abundant digital interconnection.
