Hot off a busy summer that included dates opening for Jack White and Old Crow Medicine Show, as well as festival and club appearances across North America and Europe, Pokey LaFarge and the South City Three will perform in select U.S. and Canadian markets in August and September 2012.

Following a summer packed with String Cheese Incident shows, festivals, and craft beer events, SCI keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth is back on the road this fall with Kyle Hollingsworth Band on the West Coast.

DeLuna Fest is proud to announce the daily performance schedule for their third annual music and beach festival. Headlining the festival Friday, September 21st, Pearl Jam will be joined by Ben Folds Five, Gaslight Anthem, Trampled by Turtles and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Traveler, Trey Anastasio's forthcoming solo album, will be released on October 16 on Rubber Jungle Records / ATO Records. The first single on the album, "Scabbard," was released yesterday and is available for download at iTunes and Amazon MP3. It's also available as a 7" Vinyl record, pressed on red wax (with a "Pigtail" B-Side).

This Friday, August 24, Phish will play a sold out show at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Birmingham, Alabama. The show will be webcast live at LivePhish.com. The webcast is available for pre-order now, along with a Summer 2012 Tour t-shirt (a brand new color variation that's not available on the road).LivePhish.com will broadcast a 9-camera, high definition shoot with high quality audio mixed live.

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the departure of 2 of our longtime bandmates.  For personal and professional reasons both Kris and JP Nowak have decided to leave the band after 8 years together.  We wish them both the best and utmost success in their future endeavors.  We will finish out the current dates we have on the books with them and are currently looking for their full time replacements.

Adam Aijala, Ben Kaufmann & Dave Johnston of Yonder Mountain String Band took some time from their busy schedule to answer a few questions about the band's upcoming Kinfolk Celebration in Lyons, Colorado. This will be the first time in 10 years the band is playing the Planet Bluegrass grounds. It's obvious they're excited for the opportunity to put on a festival for their hometown fans.

Jimmy Herring’s second solo album, Subject to Change Without Notice -available via Abstract Logix- is an instrumental album inspired by the human voice. Herring reveals on his website “It’s ironic: I play instrumental music and all I want to do is be a singer.”  Yet, his iconic playing style has a voice of its own. With an extensive vocabulary that spans almost 40 years. Herring studied guitar at Berklee College of Music and the Guitar Institute of Technology before becoming a luminary in the Jazz Fusion scene.

RIOT FEST–the music festival which celebrates rock, indie, punk and underground artists from every era--has announced the line-ups and venues for the after-parties for the Chicago festival (see full line-ups below). The official on-sale begins today, August 21 with a limited number of single-day tickets available. All after-parties are open to 3-day pass holders (subject to capacity).
