The lineup of musical artists from places of importance to them around the world and appearances by National Geographic Explorers will take viewers on a virtual journey when it’s needed most.
The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival announces the lineup for the internationally acclaimed camping festival’s upcoming 20th-anniversary edition. Set to take place September 2–5, 2021 on the Bonnaroo Farm, located just 60 miles southeast of Nashville in Manchester, TN. Officially announced earlier in the week, My Morning Jacket have released their new record, The Waterfall II, an unforeseen and timely continuation of a psychic and sonic journey begun long ago. The album was massively inspired by the band’s idyllic surroundings in Stinson Beach, CA — and a sense of charmed isolation that frontman Jim James likened to “living on our own little moon.” There, the Kentucky-bred five-piece ended up creating over two dozen songs at the mountaintop studio known as Panoramic House.
