Nashville Americana singer-songwriter and virtuosic guitarist Jax Hollow manages to refine the heavier, rock ‘n’ roll machismo of previous work with producer Michael Wagener (Metallica, Mötley Crü), distilling a more distinctive sound that yields progressive Southern rock and country twang, as well as expert songwriting on her sophomore album Only the Wild Ones (out May 5).

23-year-old Bronx native Samara Joy, who recently took home awards for Best New Artist and Best Jazz Vocal Album at her first-ever GRAMMYs, has shared a piano-vocal duo version of “Guess Who I Saw Today.” The stripped-down rendition of the tune, which she performed with a full band on her latest studio album Linger Awhile, features four-time GRAMMY-nominated pianist Gerald Clayton.

THE HOG FARM HIDEAWAY music festival will take place June 9-11 at the legendary Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California.
