Bay Area funk and soul pioneers, Tower of Power, have detailed the kick-off to their 55th anniversary tour. The band, known for their iconic hits such as “You’re Still A Young Man,” “What is Hip?” and “So Very Hard To Go” has been leaving their fans wowed since their earliest days in Oakland.

This past Saturday, acclaimed artist Madison Cunningham performed three tracks from her latest album Revealer on “CBS Saturday Morning.”

Watch/share her performance of recently Grammy-nominated song “Life According to Raechel,”  as well as new LP tracks “Anywhere”  and “Who Are You Now.”

MerleFest, presented by Window World, has just added another huge list of performers to its already stacked 2023 lineup—which featured headliners like The Avett Brothers and Maren Morris.

Last week, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats surprised the five hundred concertgoers at The Guild Theater in Menlo Park, CA with a special guest appearance from Bobby Weir. After the band’s blistering set, featuring songs from their critically acclaimed album The Future, Weir joined the group onstage for a four-song encore.

King Canyon, the supergroup collaboration consisting of Eric Krasno, Otis McDonald, and Mike Chiavaro are excited to release their newest single “Ice & Fire” with Son Little on December 2. The new single comes out ahead of the self-titled debut album due out early 2023. So far King Canyon have a few singles including “Mulholland” featuring Derek Trucks, with Will Blades on organ; and their debut single “Keep On Movin.”
 

In celebration of his fourth GRAMMY nomination for his song “Oh Betty” in the “Best American Roots Performance” category, soulful singer, songwriter, musician, and activist Fantastic Negrito (neé Xavier Dphrepaulezz) has released a brand new reimagined acoustic version today.

Aoife O’Donovan — who was just nominated for three 2023 GRAMMY Awards for her 2022 album Age Of Apathy — shares an intimate acoustic version of “Age Of Apathy” (produced with Darren Schneider). The performance is essential Aoife: delicately expressive phrasings, instinctive accompaniment, and the elemental power of that voice cast against sparse instrumentation.

Nashville-based/Haynesville, LA-born singer-songwriter Chris Canterbury is in the seasonal spirit while releasing a cover of John Prine’s classic song, “Christmas in Prison” – LISTEN or WATCH.

Armadillo World Studios in partnership with the GRAMMY Museum® has announced that 12x GRAMMY-winning musician, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and critically-acclaimed solo artist Chris Shiflett has been added as host of the upcoming special documentary series preview event for "THEY CALLED US OUTLAWS” on Monday, December 5. The program will go behind the scenes of the upcoming six-chapter, twelve-hour documentary on the history and legacy of the Cosmic Cowboys, Honky Tonk Heroes and the Outlaw country-rock movement.
