Good Vibez Presents, the creative geniuses behind the beloved California Roots Music & Arts Festival, are pleased to announce Rebels & Renegades, a 2-day music festival taking place October 15-16 at the Monterey Fair & Event Center in Monterey, CA, the once home to the famous Monterey Pop Festival.

Known for their electric live performances, acclaimed indie pop band Lucius will embark on their “Feels Like Second Nature” headline tour this fall with newly confirmed shows at Austin’s Scoot Inn, Dallas’ The Echo, Denver’s Ogden Theatre, Seattle’s Neptune Theatre, San Diego’s Music Box and Los Angeles’ The Belasco among many others. Breakout group Kaleta & Super Yamba Band will take their lauded live show back on the road this summer and fall with an extensive run of North American dates. The shows kick off in Colorado Springs, CO tonight, August 9 and include debut festival appearances at Brooklyn’s Afropunk, Chicago’s World Music Festival and Louisville’s The Big Stomp as well as a performance at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Jalbatross is the musical alias of veteran guitarist Ryan Jalbert, the longtime funky strummer for Denver based funk group, The Motet. For his debut album, the guitarist recruited his bandmate Joey Porter (keys), brother Colin Jalbert (drums) and longtime friend Tim Philpott (bass) for a batch of instrumental tunes displaying Jalbert’s original composition and production.

On Friday, November 11, Alligator Records will release JJ Grey & Mofro's 2007 label debut, Country Ghetto, on vinyl LP for the very first time. 2022 marks the 15th anniversary of Country Ghetto, the best-selling album of Grey's career. The LP will feature all original music and artwork from the 2007 CD. Country Ghetto was the first of five albums Grey cut for Alligator.

Warner Music [Sony Music outside Europe] today announced the upcoming release of Pink Floyd’s ‘Animals’ on Deluxe Gatefold, CD, LP, Blu-ray and SACD. The individual versions will be available on September 16, 2022 with the Deluxe version available from October 7, 2022. This is the first time the album will have been available on 5.1 Surround Sound.
