It’s been a long road to here for songwriter Bobby Cool. Just over the last few years, especially during an industry-wide shutdown, Cool found himself working as a janitor, radon inspector, and flooring salesman to make ends meet. Before that, he honed his craft in Athens, Georgia, dive bars before making a move up to Nashville’s club scene. Every step of the way, though, Cool collected bits and pieces of everyday life stuff; memories, anecdotes, tall tales, and true stories. His superpower?

Widespread Panic finally kicked off their five night stand at the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY last Thursday, after two rounds of cancellations from COVID-19. Both album and novel are due for release on September 23rd, on Spirit of Unicorn Music, Cherry Red Records, iTunes and Amazon.

Today, UMe announces the release of EP3 featuring four brand new tracks from Ringo Starr, to be released on September 16, 2022, pre-order HERE. The Bacon Brothers have had a productive summer; they're on tour, supporting their new EP, Erato, and have also premiered their latest video, "Dark Chocolate Eyes," via People.com. Kevin wrote, directed, and edited the new video that features gorgeous home movie footage of his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, and their two kids when they were babies. Kevin also wrote the song produced this Spring by Joe Nicolo at his Philadelphia studio.
