Lord Huron is launching a Vide Noir public access television show in select cities nationwide. A true multi-media artist, singer/songwriter/producer Ben Schneider has created an immersive program that expands upon the album’s narratives and themes while showcasing the hidden world that inhabits Vide Noir. Black Hen Music announces a June 15 release date for multiple Juno-award-winning musician/producer Steve Dawson’s new instrumental acoustic album, Lucky Hand. The new recording showcases Dawson’s brilliant fingerstyle work on a variety of instruments, accompanied by special guests Jesse Zubot on violin, harmonica legend Charlie McCoy and mandolinist John Reischman, as well as the presence of a string quartet on a number of tracks. The album will be available on both CD and vinyl LP formats.

Gretchen and the Pickpockets announce an April 25 release date for their new full-length album, Falling Rising, on their Pickpocket Records imprint. The new disc, which showcases 10 all-original songs, was recorded in Boston at Dimension Sounds Studio, with engineering by Dan Cardinal (Darlingside, Ballroom Thieves), mixing by Nick Nagurka (Vulfpeck) and mastering by Grammy-nominated Emily Lazar (Foo Fighters).

The Pour House Music Hall and NC Music Magazine Present : Caravan to the Creek - an all-day music and charter bus experience. The first Caravan to the Creek is on Friday July 13th for Tedeschi Trucks Wheels of Soul Tour with Drive By Truckers and The Marcus King Band. The unexpected return of the masters of the Grateful Dead's triumphant show at the Albuquerque Civic Auditorium, November 17, 1971, yields great rewards. The Dead came in HOT for their first New Mexico show. Aided by clarity and precision and abetted by confidence and focus, they finessed old standards with definitive takes. With Keith now blending in seamlessly on keys, the first set offered up a triple shot of electric Blues, an exceptional "You Win Again," and a stellar "One More Saturday Night" to wrap things up.

Michael Mlikotic, better known by his stage name, Kotek, is a Vancouver Island-native who burst onto the scene in 2016 when he won Splice’s remix competition for “Anima Mundi”, a track from Gramatik’s album “Epigram”, and earned himself a slot at Mysteryland festival in June. Six months later Mike released his debut EP “Aurora” on Lowtemp Records.

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood have announced summer tour plans. Along with previously scheduled festival appearances at High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, CA and Peach Music Festival in Scranton, PA, the band has added 20 shows that stretch across the U.S. in July and August, including The Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo, House of Blues in Cleveland and their now annual, summertime stop at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Tickets go on-sale Friday, April 20 at 10am local.
