Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) will be among several extraordinary musical artists to perform at the 14th Annual Gathering of the Vibes, July 23-26, 2009, at Seaside Park, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

With summer just around the corner, the 10,000 Lakes Festival has added Atmosphere and Ozomatli to the lineup and will host four nights of music and camping with headlining sets from Dave Matthews Band, two nights of Widespread Panic, and Wilco for the 7th annual event held at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota July 22 – 25.

It’s coming up on that time of year again, my favorite season, the summer outdoor concert season!  And that, among other things, means its festival time.  The floundering economy may have it’s dirty little fingers stuck in pretty much everyone’s pie, forcing more than a few festivals to close up shop this year (Langerado’s off, and Jackson Hole seems like a long shot), but rest assured Denver, the second annual Mile High Music Festival will be going strong right in our own backyards! 

The second annual ALL POINTS WEST MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL returns to Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey Friday, July 31, Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 with Beastie Boys, Tool and Coldplay set to headline the three-day, multi-stage music and arts festival.  ALL POINTS WEST will also feature performances from Echo & The Bunnymen, My Bloody Valentine, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, MSTRKRFT, Gogol Bordello, The Black Keys, Fleet Foxes, Neko Case, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys and more than 65 artists appearing throughout the 80-acre historic location

Colorado's Mile High Music Festival returns to the Fields at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on July 18 and 19. The 2009 festival expands to two main stages for its second year. Headliners include TOOL (Saturday), Widespread Panic (on both Saturday and Sunday), and The Fray (Sunday).

New site improvements have already begun for the annual music and arts festival FloydFest, July 23-26, located at milepost 170.5 off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Floyd, Virginia. One major addition to the venue in 2009 is the construction of a timber framed “front of house” structure for the Streamline Stage @ HillHoller. The structure will house sound equipment during the event, and will be designed to complement the beautiful timber framed stage, built in 2007 by event sponsors Streamline Timberworks.

The Dead (their ONLY summer appearance!), Bob Dylan, The String Cheese Incident, Willie Nelson & Family, and The Black Crowes will top the bill of over 60 diverse and stellar artists at the second annual ROTHBURY Festival at the Double JJ Ranch in Michigan on July 2-3-4-5, 2009.

The Chemical Brothers (DJ Set), Devendra Banhart, Etienne De Crecy, The Orb, Murder City Devils, Busy P, and Plump DJs have joined the line-up for the tenth COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL.  The full updated list of acts for this year’s festival--set for Friday, April 17, Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19--is as follows:

The 2009 Pitchfork Music Festival -- to be held in Chicago's Union Park Friday, July 17 - Sunday, July 19 -- is announcing the first round of band's to perform at this years festival, as well as a new series that will include Friday's performances.
