Electronic-funk tastemakers The Floozies and globe-spanning experimental outfit Dirtwire will co-headline back-to-back Colorado performances this September, with support from beat-maker Flamingosis and psych-groove quartet Honeycomb. The pair’s “”New Sundown Tour”” touches down at Denver’s Levitt Pavilion on Friday, September 12, and moves an hour west to the Dillon Amphitheater on Saturday, September 13.

Kansas City brothers Matt and Mark Hill, known collectively as The Floozies, have spent the last decade forging a unique path through the jam-band and future-groove scenes. From sold-out hometown shows and their annual Funk Street festival to festival stages at Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, High Sierra and beyond, The Floozies deliver authentic, sample-driven funk framed by blistering synth solos and irresistible dancefloor grooves.

Joining them is Dirtwire, whose genre-defying sound blurs the line between ancient traditions and cutting-edge production. Drawing on ethnomusicological explorations—from West African kamale ngoni and Balinese gamelan to Brazilian favelas and Australian Outback desert gatherings—the trio weaves world instruments, warped blues riffs and hard-hitting 808s into a psychedelic trance experience. Dirtwire’s live shows are renowned for their communal energy, guiding audiences from down-home boot-stomp jams to expansive, cinematic beatscapes.

Local favorite Flamingosis brings his signature blend of smooth, sample-heavy house and laid-back funk, while Honeycomb rounds out the lineup with their psychedelic pop-soul fusion. Together, these four acts promise two nights of genre-bending, high-octane performances under the wide Colorado sky.
