Beech Mountain Resort, presenting organization of the annual Beech Mountain Summer Concert Series, has announced that it will be expanding its celebrations this year with a bonus weekend of outdoor music taking place July 28-30.

Pink Talking Fish made the penultimate stop on their spring tour with a visit to the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA on Saturday night. The band consisting of Cal Kehoe (Guitar/Vox), Eric Gould (Bass/Vox), Richard James (Keys/Vox), and Zack Burwick (Drums), took to the stage to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s epic album Dark Side of the Moon by playing it in its entirety for the first set.

Today, supergroup The Baseball Project has announced their fourth studio album Grand Salami Time!, due out June 30 via Omnivore Recordings. Made up of Steve Wynn (The Dream Syndicate), former R.E.M. members Peter Buck and Mike Mills, along with Scott McCaughey (The Minus 5/Young Fresh Fellows) and Linda Pitmon (Filthy Friends, Alejandro Escovedo), the band has also shared their jangly new single “Journeyman.”
