Rose Presents, one of the principal partners in the 10,000 Lakes Festival, announced today that 10KLF would be on official hiatus until further notice. Unfortunately, 10KLF could not grow to financial success.

Jeff Austin & Brendan Bayliss are pleased to announce the long-awaited studio debut from their new project, 30db! One Man Show will be available in stores and online on May 11th, and the duo will be touring with their great band in support of the release. The band features Cody Dickinson (of North Mississippi Allstars), Eric Thorin and Nick Forster.

Trey Anastasio and TAB will headline the inaugural The Hangout Beach, Music and Arts Festival, May 14-16, on the beach in Gulf Shores, AL. Other performers include Flaming Lips, Ben Harper and Relentless 7, Girl Talk, Alison Krauss & Union Station, John Legend, Zac Brown Band, The Black Crowes, Ray LaMontagne, Michael Franti & Spearhead and many others.

Phish returns to the stage this June for an extensive two-leg Summer Tour, kicking off June 11th in Chicago and wrapping with a two-night stand at Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY in August. Stops along the way include a return to SPAC, Hartford, Merriweather, and Alpine Valley.

From now through July 4th, one of the nation's great repositories of history will play host to a remarkable and significant collection of cultural treasures: "The Grateful Dead – Now Appearing at the New-York Historical Society" is the first-ever traveling exhibition of materials on loan from the Dead's own vast archive of art, documents, photographs and memorabilia, which the band donated in 2008 to the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Yes, it's even more amusing than it sounds.

To coincide with the happenings at South By Southwest in Austin, the Backbeat Foundation will present Export NOLA on Wednesday, March 17th at Momo's. The showcase will feature New Orleans artists that represent various styles of music that the Crescent City is known for, including Anders Osborne, Big Sam's Funky Nation, and The Stooges Brass Band.
