Dead Floyd is a celebration of the music of two of rock and roll’s greatest bands, The Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd, mashed together into one high-energy, unpredictable show. Drawing from both extensive catalogs of music, the Dead Floyd performances include early rarities to modern classics and everything in between. The love of the music of both bands inspires Dead Floyd to uniquely interpret the songs in a way that allows the music to timelessly live on and the legacy of both bands to stay alive to the next generation of fans.

The Boulder Theater reveals its October reopening alongside the announcement of nine very intimate and socially-distant shows, featuring local artists including Magic Beans, Random Rab, and Tenth Mountain Division. Each show will be limited to 100 guests. Tickets may be purchased in tables of 4 or 8 and each ticket comes with 2 McDevitt Supply tacos, 2 drinks, and chips & salsa for the table. All events are 21+ and are to follow strict local, state, and national guidelines.

“We’re a Mexican American band, and no word describes America like immigrant. Most of us are children of immigrants, so it’s perhaps natural that the songs we create celebrate America in this way.” So says Louie Perez, the “poet laureate” and primary wordsmith of Los Lobos, when describing the songs on the band’s new album, Gates of Gold.

The debate between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones has been going on ever since they first crossed paths on the charts 54 years ago. The argument at the time, and one that still persists, was that the Beatles were a pop group and the Stones were a rock band: the boys next door vs. the bad boys of rock. So who’s better? These two legendary bands will engage in an on-stage, throw down - a musical 'showdown' if you will - at the Boulder Theater on Sunday, March 15 courtesy of tribute bands Abbey Road and Satisfaction - The International Rolling Stones Show.

To help raise awareness and support for the Save Our Stages (SOS) Act, NIVA Colorado has dubbed Wednesday, July 29th as the organization’s “Day of Action.”
