Hot off the Sphere shows in Las Vegas, Trey Anastasio brought Classic TAB to the Salt Shed Chicago. The Salt Shed Chicago is the hottest new venue in the city, Trey was clearly enjoying it as much as the City of Chicago loves it too. Right off the Chicago River on a misty May evening, the moisture turned to a sweaty fun time inside the indoor/outdoor venue. Those who had their poster tubes were happy they had them!
This past week, central Colorado continued its reign as the live musical mecca that locals and pilgrims have come to know as a true constant. With so many multi-night performances within a 150-mile drive of the Mile High City, it was difficult to decide what to do.
As with most things in life, the end is usually bittersweet and ripe with emotion. This was certainly the case for the eighth and final collaborative performance by the Trey Anastasio Band and Goose. Upstate New York was pummeled by a historic lake effect snowstorm that brought almost six feet of snow last weekend. This wasn’t the only storm in the region, as the raging infernos known as the Trey Anastasio Band and Goose brought some serious heat to Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial in Syracuse, NY on November 18, 2022.
The dynamic duo of the Trey Anastasio Band, led by Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, and Goose flew like a red bird into Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls, NY on November 13, 2022 for the fourth of eight shows on their collaborative Northeastern Fall run. Their sets grew wings and took flight with monster sit-ins by both bands.
The jazzy big band meets jam rock side project of Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, the Trey Anastasio Band, embarked on a special eight show tour with the rising, indie jam band Goose this past week. This included a stop at the Mohegan Sun Arena, which is smack in the middle of Goose's home territory inside the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT on November 12, 2022.
Trey Anastasio brought his side project, the Trey Anastasio Band, to the Westville Music Bowl for the first time, along with the largest crowd the venue has seen since opening in May 2021. This high energy, jam rock meets big band ensemble brought many familiar qualities to the show, as well as new directions, including band members and song selection.
