Music lovers and Lucinda Williams fans are invited to an inspiring evening that blends live performance, documentary screening, and conversation as Finding Lucinda comes to San Francisco on Friday, October 3.

Presented as an official Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Out of the Park show, this event benefiting Sweet Relief and the Bay Area Musicians Fund celebrates the early life, creative spark, and lasting influence of the legendary singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (HSB) is very proud to share the initial lineup for its silver anniversary in San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Park from Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass will kick off its landmark 25th anniversary celebration this year with a very special festival eve benefit concert honoring legendary singer and songwriter Emmylou Harris – the only artist to perform at each and every edition of the much beloved San Francisco free music festival.

This year's Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival (“HSBG”) in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park was—as usual, and as expected—a joyous and magical celebration for young and old, family and friends, musicians and music fans.

Jones, Alice Gerrard, and Glen Hansard.

Carl “Buffalo” Nichols is a living anomaly in this ever-commercial world. With a stage name that reflects the rarity and value of his art, he lives to embody in his personal life the values he advocates for in his music. Not even two weeks removed from the release of his Sophomore album “The Fatalist,” his demeanor hardly reflects acknowledgment of its notoriety, focused not on the accolades it has received, but rather on those who have received its message.
