Part of the Terrapin Roadshow series, a fine ensemble of talented musicians with shared music pedigrees gathered on July 19 at a 500‑capacity amphitheater in San Rafael, California, for a two‑set, kaleidoscopic performance of (mostly) Grateful Dead music. This was the second of three weekend shows at the venue, typically utilized by the Marin Shakespeare Company, within the Dominican University of California campus, each of which had a different ensemble cast.

Guitarist, singer/songwriter, and bandleader Grahame Lesh of Midnight North, Grahame Lesh and Friends, and Phil Lesh and Friends has partnered with the nonprofit The Nancy Langhorne Foundation to release a limited-edition Christmas EP through their label, 12/23 Records.

Midnight North singer Elliott Peck brought some of her friends to Mill Valley’s Sweetwater Music Hall on Friday, Dec. 8, for a delightful and powerful headlining gig that showcased her brilliant voice and distinctive songwriting chops. The Sweetwater was packed with veterans of Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads scene as well as other music lovers who have grown to appreciate Peck as one of the Bay Area’s finest performers.

Midnight North, formed by singer-songwriters Grahame Lesh and Elliott Peck, take their cue from the fertile Bay Area music scene and are set to release their next studio album Diamonds In The Zodiac via Americana Vibes on November 10, 2023.

Formed in 2012 by singer-songwriters Grahame Lesh & Elliott Peck and taking their cue from the fertile Bay Area music scene, Midnight North has announced their fifth album Diamonds on the Zodiac, a continuation of their musical direction forged during the release of the group’s 2021 record There’s Always a Story. Today, they share the lead single “The Colors Here” which is a direct testament to their rich Bay Area heritage featuring Phil Lesh on bass.

THE HOG FARM HIDEAWAY music festival will take place June 9-11 at the legendary Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. The event is presented by an independent, women-owned production company called Shooting Star Events. As part of the lead up to this exciting event, the producers are taking the opportunity during Women’s History Month to shine a spotlight on the many strong women who are involved on the stage and behind the scenes.
